I viewed iearn.org. The one thing I enjoyed with this site is the ability to search for projects by ages and subject. I also appreciated that they had different areas to focus on for example 'Good Deeds' or 'A Day in the Life.' These types of activities allow myself and the students to collaborate with each other and other individuals with. This allows allows students to "communicate information and ideas effectively to multiple audiences using a variety of media and formats" as well as to "develop cultural understanding and global awareness by engaging with learners of other cultures."

One project I found was: http://www.bullying.org/ where students could collaborate internationally in regards to bullying since we already have time set aside for bullying in our school. This will also develop a cultural awareness of how widespread bullying is.

This meets NETS (for students) standard 2 (Communication & Collaboration). Students must interact with people internationally to work together to solve a problem or provide solutions to bullying.
